The United Nations Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) Office is the UN centre of expertise in pooled funding. It is the only UN entity exclusively dedicated to the design and administration of multi-stakeholder pooled financing instruments.
Since 2004, our office has supported the UN in launching over 150 pooled funds covering the entire humanitarian-development-peace spectrum—and highlighting a new generation of SDG and humanitarian action partnerships along the way.
We have managed more than 150 trust funds, recieved $1.25 billion US dollars in annual deposits (2019), and invested in the programmes of 46 participating United Nations organizations.
